Windows 95 and 98:
  • Close all applications
  • Left click on the “Start” button, go to “Settings”, then click on “Control Panel”
  • Left double click on the “Network” icon
  • Under the “Configuration” tab left double click on “TCP/IP” for your Network card
  • Under the “IP Address” tab select “Obtain an IP address automatically”



  • Under the “Gateway” tab make sure there is nothing entered in “Installed Gateway”
  • Under the “DNS Configuration” tab select “Disable DNS”, hit OK
  • Restart your computer
  • Left double click on the “Internet Explorer” icon…you’re now online
